2023 - LEEANN'S HISTORY - MARDI GRASS LENEDA

From Dad's very own collection, this is MARDI GRASS LENEDA.  This limited edition of dressed dolls was exclusive to a gift shop in New Orleans.  The original plan was to make 80 of them delivered in two runs of 40 pieces but the shop closed after hurricane Katerina.  Although there were 40 pieces of this outfit sewn by Dad himself, each one of the MARDI GRASS DOLLS was different.  Most of them were LEEANN dolls with various applied wigs and only a few were done on LENEDA dolls.  This makes this dressed doll one-of-just-a-few. The costume is removable and can be worn by any of the Leeann and friends' girls.
